What mysteries shall be unlocked here?
The Phoenix is a symbol of hope, renewal, and rebirth. It is a reminder that no matter how bad things can get, there is always the potential for a better future. It encourages us to have faith in ourselves and our abilities to create change and progress. The Phoenix reminds us that no matter how difficult things may seem, we can always find the strength to rise again.

Can I combine sessions?
If you would like to combine sessions this can be done by booking each time period and service separately (eg. 10 minute Wordsmithing + 25 minute Card Reading), or by booking the length of time you will need and indicating the primary focus via your selection in the "Selections" tab. Sessions over 40 minutes will be broken into two parts until I decide whether I like Zoom.
What's your cancellation policy?
Please remember to put your appointment on a reminder calendar, as cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session are charged in full. There is no guarantee that a late arrival will receive a full session, and will also be charged in full. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours in advance of the scheduled time are reimbursed minus a $5 service fee. If I cannot keep the appointment, I will refund and notify you.
Code of Conduct:
Inappropriate and/or aggressive conduct will result in the session ending without refund or explanation.
Scheduling Policy:
Bookings do not guarantee service. If you have violated a code of conduct, or make several consecutive daily appointments without advance agreement, you will be refunded and removed from the calendar. Sometimes in extra difficult transitions, situations, or lessons doing multiple consecutive healings, readings, or consultations in a week may be appropriate, but generally it is advised to let at least one week pass between sessions.
I heard you have spiritual skills that aren't listed on the website. Why is that? Am I able to book you for something that isn't listed here?
Frankly, I didn't like the aesthetics of having a lot of session options on the website! There's also some skills that I have, like mediumship, that, while I can do it, I have very strong preferences on when/how/why I do. My gifts work in concert with each other and I like the discretion to use whichever gift I'm guided toward for your benefit. So a card reading may turn into, say, a shadow-work session if that's required, or if you wanted to use the cards to work with your shadow we could do that, too. However, if you would like to book a session in a spiritual skill you know I have that is not listed here, like Nordic runes or bibliomancy, I recommend selecting a card reading or spiritual consultation and mentioning that technique on the booking form's notes field. If it's possible, I will use the technique for our session. If not, I will follow up in an email about the particulars and we'll move forward from there.
The same idea applies for themed readings and decks. I have an extensive collection! If you would like to work with faery energy, mermaid specific decks, animal medicine, a pop culture theme, or what have you, if I have it available we can theme it.
Wait, what?? Mediumship? You can talk to ghosts?
Ghosts is such a broad term. Without going into a full dissertation here, I can work with residue energies from the past (which is like a ghost), and I can also work with the consciousness of passed beings. Read: not just human - pets, trees, etc. I do not purport to know what's beyond death, but I do speak on the topic from my personal and professional anecdotally verified experiences. From these experiences, I feel there are some misconceptions about what a medium is, or maybe it's just how my gifts work. Simply stated: I am not a telephone system to the dead, and even if I were, I find some formerly incarnated beings have their contact settings on *do not disturb.* (FYI- making an oversimplification for the humor). Perhaps it's because my gifts are more geared toward transformation and healing, but most often when a channel of connection opens there is a healing purpose behind it - in this case either for the dead or from the dead for the living. Maybe other mediums' experiences are different. So, given this, if you want to work with me as a medium, book a remote healing session FOR YOURSELF, and if there is healing to be done in conjunction with the passed love one we will work that energy until it is has positively shifted, then spend the remaining time, if any, working soley on your energy. If the deceased is not present, then we can have a full Reiki session for you instead.
Can I book a session for my pet?
Yes, I love fur, feather, and scale babies! Remote energy healings for pets can be booked as a 10, 25, or 40 minute session, just indicate the purpose of the session in the notes field on the booking form. I use the Lenormand card system for pet readings.
Do I have to believe in something particular to work with you? Like a religion, or magic?
Not at all! You don't even have to be spiritual. I go into some detail on the Remote Reiki Session page on the fundamentals of how energy healing works, and the power of intentional thought is now widely accepted among behavioral scientists. So, basically, we can connect as analysts if that's your preference. If it's more comfortable for your framework, you can consider me a strategist who uses cards as a brainstorming technique. I will also give grounded and pragmatic assays, even if the topic is spiritual (i.e. ghosts), whether you are spiritual or not. If you do happen to be spiritual or religious, I am deeply happy to go down that conceptual rabbit hole with you!
Myself? I am spiritual. I am open and accepting of all faiths. I will tailor my counseling to you and your affiliations as much as possible. However, my guidance forwards neutrality, temperance, sovereignty, and compassion.
You say "Spirit" a lot in your readings?
I got into the habit.
Spirit is a "catch all" phrase I picked up from the ethers to talk about spiritual energies in general terms - similar to "God" or "the Universe."
What is the Lenormand Grand Tableau?
Lenormand is a fortune-telling system that uses a set of 36 cards created in the early 1800s by the famous French fortune-teller, Madame Lenormand. Each card has its own key meaning and when combined with other cards, the complex and detailed interpretation makes for an accurate and powerful way to gain insight into the future. The Grand Tableau uses all 36 cards to paint a story of your current spiritual journey, or your year ahead. This is one of my favorites for new year or birthday readings. The only real reason to uncover the future is in order to plot your course and correct if it's off track - supposedly Napoleon used Madame Lenormand's readings toward many of his war victories! For the record, though, I will not plot war or revenge with you... let's focus on making your life beautiful, instead!

I wanted a done website, not a perfect one! Some of the stock photos I really like!
